A lifting of the grain on the top edges of the arms and legs may also occur. These occurrences are perfectly natural and will even out to the original smooth finish once the weathering process is complete. You can expedite this process by scrubbing it regularly with a soft bristled brush or sponge. Some water spots or stains may also occur, but these will eventually fade and even out as well.

Because of its naturally occurring oils, teak furniture can be left outdoors year-round. Now while the natural golden brown color or aged patina finish are gorgeous on their own you can add a personal touch with brightly colored and patterned cushions. No matter what you do there is no better outdoor furniture than that made from teak.
