Brush-Rug Cleaning Including Wool and Silk Rugs

Brush-rug-cleaning equipment with rug cleaning products running at 175rpm's is what I use. First I pre-spray all traffic lanes with a 2gal. Spray-tank with a good traffic lane solution. Then the carpet cleaning solutions are applied either to the brush or sprayed onto the carpets and rugs as work advances until all areas are done.

Wool rug cleaning if dry powder is used I apply it to a moist rug. The solution is then agitated into the rug which absorbs the soil. After ample drying time the rug is vacuumed to remove the dirt together with the rug cleaning products. This technique works good for wool rug cleaning for the reason that it needs less water.

Silk rug cleaning if dry powder is used apply it entirely onto the rugs. The powder is then agitated into the rug which absorbs the soil. After ample time I vacuumed the rug to remove the dirt together with the rug cleaning products. This technique works good for silk rug cleaning for the reason that it needs no water.

A few steps to remember are listed here for your reference.

Remove as much furniture as possible or move to one side.

Vacuum the carpet in two different directions as to remove as much dirt as possible.

After all furniture has been returned, it is best to place carpet protectors under all furniture legs. I use small pre-cut tin foils sheets and either let the client know they can be removed after the carpet is dry or I will inform them know that I will stop by in 3 days to do it.

Before leaving I find it is a good business practice to leave all customers with a full year discount coupon which is good for any additional work.

As a final step, use a carpet rake to remove all of your footprints in a pattern as if you were painting the floor and work your way on out of the room.
